Everyone familiar with the DivX video format knows how impressive it is on keeping very high video quality with such small file sizes, and that is the reason why DivX movies are so popular over the Net. But sometimes you have a very good DivX movie, but it's not in English and you can't understand it without subtitles. Fortunately, there's an easy solution for that:

1- Download VLC Player here and install it.

2- Download the subtitles for the movie you want to watch. There are many web sites with thousands of subtitles for a lot of movies and TV series, but in my opinion this one is the best.

3- Open VLC Player. Choose "File > Open File" from the File menu.

4- Click on the "Browse" button and locate the DivX movie file. Then check "Load subtitles file" and click on "Settings". Click the "Browse" button and show the location of the subtitles file you just downloaded.

5- That's it! Now all you need is to click the "Ok" button to close the window. The selected movie and subtitles will load, and you can watch it in a window or in full screen mode (right-click the movie window and select "Full screen").
