By using "Disk Utility", an application available on Mac OS X's Utilities folder, you can create copies of CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs easily. Just follow these instructions: Warning! The following steps will not work if you're trying to copy discs with protected content, like DVD movies or audio CDs. 1- Open Disk Utility, located in the Utilities folder inside Applications folder.
- Insert a CD or DVD disc in your computer's drive and select it on the discs and volumes list on Disk Utility's window (on the left).
- Click on the "New Image" icon (the second from left to right, on the upper part of the window).
- Type a name for the disc image. Make sure the "compressed" format is selected, and choose "none" on "encryption".
- Click on the "Save" button.
- When the disc image creation is finished, eject the original CD/DVD.
- Select the new disc image on Disk Utility's discs and volumes list, and then click on the "Burn" icon.
- A popup window will appear on the screen. Insert a blank CD or DVD and click on the "Burn" button. That's all!
